Defence Seals invest in CNC Measuring Technology

The Vertex by MicroVu is a precision measuring instrument from the US. This CNC measuring system has a resolution of 0.1 µm, and a measuring accuracy of 5 µm. It’s many programs include an O-Ring measuring function which will automatically measure the internal diameter and the cross section of any O-ring up to 300mm in diameter.
The machine is also capable of measuring the outline of any given object (300x300mm max) and replicating that object as a two-dimensional DXF file – ideal for gasket cutting!
